Edition 1 in 2018: National Event Venue & Banquet Hall, North York. Sunday, November 6th. Tickets $20. All proceeds to charity. Staged with the Black and White Heritage Foundation.
Edition 2 in 2019: Paparazzi Event Centre, Toronto. Saturday, October 19th. ‘From Lagos With Love.’ Economy $20, Shakara $40. Hosted by AJ Styles & Mista Dre with DJ Havil, DJ Olar, DJ Limit, DJ Berak, DJ Mike.
These editions were about heritage — reminding the diaspora that Fela’s spirit lives wherever Africans gather.
