April 2023 was the month I learned what touring really means.
Three countries — Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda. Three sold-out venues. One travelling production crew. AfroDJ Fest was my first proper multi-country tour.
Uganda kicked off in Kampala, Tanzania at Warehouse Arena Masaki, and Kenya closed at Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi. Three countries, three main stages, back-to-back.
Spyro and Camidoh anchored the bill. DJ Neptune, DJ Consequence, DJ Buckz and Pocolee kept the rooms moving.
